Red Cabbage Healthy & Easy Recipe!

It is also a great source of antioxidants and other beneficial plant compounds that help protect against cellular damage. Its antioxidants include vitamin C, carotenoids, and flavonoid antioxidants.  


What is also great about it is that  is a simple and tasty addition to many dishes. It can be eaten raw, cooked, or fermented, which adds to its versatility. In my case I do a sauté with red onions and a bit of avocado oil and then I add the cabbage on top for it to have a tastier flavour.


I was asked for a recipe and here it is…. This is how I cook Red Cabbage!


You will need:

– A quarter of a red cabbage
– 3 tsp of avocado oil
– One small onion
– Garlic to taste
– Salt to taste


Instructions:
1- Warm up a pan with the oil (make sure it doesn’t burn)
2- Cut the onion in small pieces.
3- Chop the garlic heads finely.
4- Chop the red cabbage however you want. 
5- Add the onion and the garlic to the pan. Cook using medium heat until onions and translucent.
6- Add the cabbage and stir often until the cabbage achieves the desired consistency. Add also the salt and the pepper.
